🖋️ Ink Supply System
This ink supply system features a separate reservoir (capillary) and feed structure, making it the best system available for hooded nib designs. The reservoir inside the grip section has excellent ink retention capacity. Additionally, the micro-textured inner surface of the titanium alloy grip enhances ink adhesion, ensuring a smooth and consistent flow.
🖋️ About Ink Filling
When filling the pen, a significant amount of ink is stored in the reservoir, while the converter acts as a secondary ink chamber.
- For first-time ink filling, allow the ink to flow through the reservoir to saturate and fill the gaps, creating a layered ink traction system.
- Do not remove the converter when filling a new pen; instead, fill directly to ensure proper ink flow.
- Since there is an air cavity between the reservoir and the connector, the converter may appear partially filled when the nib is facing downward. However, the actual ink volume exceeds the converter’s capacity.
- For maximum ink capacity, fill the pen twice to ensure full saturation.
- The ball or sliding block inside the converter helps break surface tension, promoting better ink flow.
🖋️ About Disassembly
The grip section is directly threaded and internally sealed. It is factory-tightened to prevent loosening.
- Disassembly requires specialized tools.
- If you are not experienced in handling fountain pens, it is not recommended to disassemble the pen.
- Improper disassembly may lead to lost components or product damage. Please proceed with caution!
🖋️ About Scratches
Scratches on metal surfaces are inevitable due to:
- Repeated capping and uncapping
- Friction with hard objects
- Dust particles containing abrasive materials
Even high-end metal watch bands and smartphone frames are prone to scratches over time.
🔹 If you are highly sensitive to surface scratches, please consider this before purchasing.
