This is mostly a novelty for me because I have such large hands, but the pen is fully functional and portable. It’s a legitimate option for certain jobs, or a fun, ultra-portable EDC pen. The lines are spectacular, and they’re on par with a standard ball point pen from a pack.
Coffee&Camera –
This pen takes standard D1 refills, you will need to remove the coil from the current refill and transfer it. However the refill that comes with this pen is remarkably smooth for a ballpoint refill.
This is not a pen you want to write your next novel with, no it is best for quickly scribbling a note or adding something to your shopping list. Maybe signing a receipt. It’s very thin and very short. I have small hands and I found it too short and too narrow for anything more than a page of quickly scribbled note sin my Field Notes.
That said, it’s now an essential part of my EDC. I put a small loop in my pocket notebook case and this fits into the case and into my back pocket and I don’t even know it’s there. Fantastic.
